New Program - Workforce Learning Link

I picked up a pamphlet last week while at The Department of Labor, Workforce Development, One Stop Career Center, on a new program called The Workforce Learning Link.  The Learning Links are open to anyone who needs to improve math, reading, speaking, or computer skills.  You do not have to be collecting unemployment benefits. Workshops are FREE  !!

Workshops include:

• Workplace Essential Skills - readiness skills
• NJN's Job Cast - success stories and tips from employers
• TV411 - improving your reading, writing, and math skills as well as ESL
• Money Smart - teaches aspects of handling money, shopping for a loan, maintaining a checking account, and managing credit card debt
